LESSON ON HELPING

THOSE IN NEED

  With the recent tragedy in Haiti, many students have asked if there is any thing we as a school can do for those devastated by the earth quake.  We have several efforts underway already.  Students are collecting jeans  through a matching funds program with Areopostal.  We have classroom efforts that have raised relief funds as well.

  Our annual Pennies for Patients campaign is also underway.  Monticello Middle School has always done a great job raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society.

  These efforts are an excellent example of how our students can make a difference here locally, and world wide.
